Our story

From one crew to a platform.

True Shines started in 2014 with a single van, three cleaners, and a small strata contract in Kitsilano. The founders — a property manager and an ops engineer — wanted a cleaning vendor that answered the phone, showed up on time, and didn't make them re-explain their building every visit.

By 2018 we were servicing 60 properties. By 2022, 180. We hired our first engineering team in 2023 and shipped the dashboard that runs our operations today — same SOPs, same photo proof, same audit log, from 1 site to 100.

Today, 247 property managers across Metro Vancouver run their janitorial, deep-clean, and post-construction programs on our platform. The mission hasn't changed: facility services should be infrastructure, not a black box.
